A large, expensive and high-aperture portrait lens from the top line of G-Master optics, designed to work in tandem with Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras. The model focuses on the highest frame detail, razor sharpness starting from an open aperture (f/1.4) and fabulous bokeh. Moreover, the lens quickly focuses and tenaciously holds the target with a “death grip” of the ultrasonic autofocus drive.

During the focusing process, the elements of the optical circuit (11 pieces in 9 groups) move inside the Sony SEL85F14GM 85mm F1.4 GM body, due to which it does not change in size and does not “draw” dust into the structure. A unique feature of the model is the focus lock button, which is convenient to use in continuous focusing mode. Also on the lens housing is an aperture switching ring (with pronounced clicks between positions). In addition, the lens can boast dust and moisture protection, resistance to all kinds of aberrations and color distortions, regardless of the selected aperture value.
