Samsung's third-generation smartwatch collects even more information about the user's activity, records changes in mental health indicators and monitors sleep quality. Also, using the heart rate monitor, Galaxy Watch 3 can measure electrocardiography of the heart, blood pressure and blood oxygen saturation. The number of supported sports modes in the third generation exceeded one hundred.

For convenience, Samsung has released several different versions of the Galaxy Watch 3 with optional LTE receivers and different case diagonals. A miniature 40mm watch with a 1.2-inch screen will look more appropriate on a woman's hand, while a more massive 44mm watch with a 1.4-inch display will be more suitable for men. Both versions of Watch3 have the same functionality, the same case (stainless steel, MIL-STD-810G and IP68 level protection), support contactless payment using an NFC chip (Samsung Pay), and also fully claim to be a fitness tracker.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is equipped with a round dial with a Super AMOLED matrix, which is covered with high-strength Gorilla Glass DX protective glass. The main screen of the watch displays the date and time, weather, calories burned and notification icons. For customization, interchangeable dials and removable straps are provided. The navigation bezel is responsible for moving through the menu. The gadget's battery is charged using Qi wireless technology. The built-in battery holds a charge for no more than three days. In maximum load mode with sensors always on and GPS activated, the watch operates on a single charge for no more than a day.
