When shooting sequentially, the Canon EOS 1300D body shows a rate of fire of 3 fps — the camera is clearly not suitable for serious reporter tasks, but a simple layman can catch movement in the frame it will work without any difficulty.
The automatic focus system in the arsenal of the camera got 9 focus points.
