High-performing and affordable dual-band router (router) of class AC1900 with support for Gigabit Ethernet cable network connections and Tri-Band function, providing 3-stream throughput using MU-MIMO 3x3 technology. It is positioned as a mid-priced product capable of delivering high-speed data transfer both wirelessly and over a LAN network. This model belongs to the SOHO class devices.

It is designed for use in 1/2/3-room apartments, small private homes, or small offices (up to four stationary PCs). The hardware base of the TP-LINK Archer A8 router is a single-core processor, working in conjunction with three radio modules and three non-removable external antennas. Thanks to the support of MU-MIMO 3x3 technology, the theoretical throughput in the 2.5 GHz band is 600 Mbps, and in the 5 GHz band — 1300 Mbps.

It is worth noting that in practice, more modest performance values are usually achieved (up to 100 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and up to 300 Mbps at 5 GHz). Nevertheless, these indicators are quite sufficient for fast surfing, viewing high-quality streaming video in FullHD/4K resolution, comfortable gaming, quick interaction with web applications and cloud services, transferring large files, and any other tasks. Three antennas and Beamforming technology provide a significant area of reliable wireless coverage.
