Globally, Ukrainian brands can be divided into two large groups: some manufacturers assemble products at their own facilities, while others use OEM assemblers (usually in China). However, as long as there is proper quality control at each stage in the manufacture of goods, it does not really matter where the assembly takes place.

Mobile gadgets and computers

The oldest in the arena of Ukrainian electronics and computer technology is Imression Electronics. The brand was created in 1997, initially it was called "Navigator". The first specialization of the company was the assembly of personal computers. After rebranding in 2011, products under the Impression brand name entered the market. The company had a factory with a full cycle of manufacturing smartphones and tablets near the notorious Gostomel airport in the suburbs of Kyiv. Unfortunately, the company was badly damaged during the hostilities at the beginning of 2022, and further prospects for the development of the brand look vague.

Until recently, there was another popular Ukrainian electronics brand, Assistant, headquartered in Kharkov. However, its products are gradually disappearing from store shelves. The company began its journey in 2003 with the release of MP3 players. In the future, the range of the brand was replenished with inexpensive phones and tablets, e-books, digital photo frames and other goods for home and office. It can be stated that only traces of its former greatness remain from the Assistant brand.

2E Monitors

In contrast to the first of the Mohicans, the products of the rapidly developing brand 2E are put. Initially, this is the most diverse small things, without which the life of a modern person is unthinkable: gamepads, keyboards, mice, cables, headphones, chargers, external batteries. Now the brand's portfolio includes both the aforementioned accessories and completely original products: push-button mobile phones, laptops, personal computers and even computer chairs. In the mobile segment of electronics, the dominant line among domestic counterparts is occupied by Sigma mobile. The modern portfolio of the brand includes indestructible Android smartphones of the X-Treme series, everyday push-button dialers of the X-Style family and low-cost tablets.

The main specialization of another popular Ukrainian brand Globex is phones, tablets, smart watches and automotive electronics. The brand was given a second wind by smart watches and video recorders. The quality of the brand's products deserves an average rating, but in fact, much is determined by the specific model chosen. We also note that the Globex company hides its “nationality” - the brand is registered in the UK. Previously, this practice was very common and many domestic firms did the same. Globex for some reason continues to stick to this line, because now Ukrainian brands are mostly proud of their national identity.

One of the most recognizable Ukrainian electronics brands is represented in the TV segment. These are products of the Kidle Vision company, known to consumers under the Kivi brand. The brand produces a line of inexpensive, reliable and high-quality smart TVs running Android. The Kivi family has models from small to large with screen sizes of 24 to 65 inches. The brand debuted in 2016 and in such a short time managed to establish itself exclusively in a positive way.

In particular, Ergo with production facilities in China and Turkey, as well as Bravis - the owner of this trademark is Foxtrot. The Saturn brand debuted on the domestic market in 1998. It is owned by the Ukrainian group of companies KTD Group, which also owns the Laretti trademark. In 2009, a plant for the production of washing machines and small household appliances was opened in Kanev, and in mid-2020, the company launched a modern conveyor line for the production of refrigerators in Cherkasy.

Small household appliances are produced by a whole armada of Ukrainian brands. Electric kettles, mixers, multicookers, toasters and other similar kitchen small things are the backbone of the product range of Aurora, Mirta, Rotex, DEX, Delfa, Maestro, Liberty, Domotec brands. The well-known online store Rozetka has its own brand of equipment - it is produced under the RZTK brand. Prices for these products are low, so the popularity is quite high. Most of the brands on the list are interspersed with large household appliances and, you never guess, TVs.

The popular Pyramida trademark has a narrower specialization. The basis of its product range is kitchen hoods. Initially, the company ordered all products from Chinese OEM suppliers, and by 2006 it was decided to launch its own production facilities. Pyramida equipment is assembled at the Radiator plant in the city of Rzhishchev in the Kiev region. Along with a variety of hoods, the brand's line includes hobs, ovens and dishwashers. Almost the same assortment can boast of another Ukrainian brand of household appliances - VENTOLUX.

In Boyarka, Kiev region, there is a production site for another well-known highly specialized brand - VENTS. Household and industrial ventilation systems are assembled at its facilities: exhaust fans, recuperation systems, air handling units and all kinds of automation.

The Ukrainian trademark Greta is represented on the market by gas stoves, hobs and ovens. The brand's equipment is produced at the facilities of the plant located in Druzhkovka, Donetsk region and existing since 1943. Greta products meet modern industry standards, are of good quality and affordable price.

In the same region there was a factory of the legendary Nord company, which specialized in the production of refrigerators. Once the brand was one of the largest manufacturers of refrigeration and freezing equipment in Eastern Europe. The Nord factory is located in Donetsk, therefore, in the light of the unstable military-political situation, brand products are temporarily not supplied to the Ukrainian market. Less venerable Ukrainian tool brands are GTM, Tex-ac, Kentavr, Vorskla, Master Tool, Zenit Profi, Stal, Sila trademarks. With rare exceptions, they import products from China and other countries.

The plumbing market is saturated with a whole horde of products from Ukrainian brands.
