Stationary miter saw designed for use in carpentry workshops. Using this tool, you can make longitudinal and cross cuts of boards (up to 70 mm thick), parquet and laminate, as well as make precise corner cuts necessary for the manufacture of parts of frame structures or skirting boards. The Bosch GCM 800 SJ Professional 0601B19000 miter saw is equipped with a 1400-watt electric motor with a soft start system that eliminates jerking when the engine is turned on.
The device is designed to work with saw blades with a diameter of 216 mm. The turntable with graduated dial can be rotated 47° in both directions. The head tilts to the left at an angle of up to 45°. The broaching mechanism, which ensures horizontal movement of the saw unit, allows you to make cuts up to 270 mm long in one movement. This model is characterized by high dust removal efficiency, ensuring cleanliness in the workplace.

Bought for home workshop. I live in a private house, so purely chores often arise. In addition, I like to tinker with wood at my leisure, to make something useful and beautiful for the home. Enough power to cut any kind of wood. The complete disc is good, except that they can’t cut it on a laminate without chips. There is a system of soft start of the engine. Bevels and turns of the saw blade are standard 45 degrees, but due to the design features, there is no tilt to the right. Broach in the longitudinal plane is possible, it is convenient for cutting wide workpieces, the broach stroke is slightly less than 30 centimeters. There is a pipe for collecting chips and dust, but there is no dust collector. But it doesn't matter, I'm going to buy an industrial vacuum cleaner for cleaning and it will be possible to connect it. The bed is quite large, made of aluminium alloy, processed neatly. Small rubber blotches are provided on the beds, which prevent the metal from scratching the table. A pleasant trifle, in which German practicality is immediately recognized. Almost lost the locking pin twice already. You need to tie it to a string or something, otherwise it will be a shame to lose it. There are no millimeter-scale notches on the stop, which would greatly help to quickly cut small parts. Tellingly, older models of such cut-off saws have such markings. I still did not understand the principle of operation of a strange clamp retainer. On the edge that enters the frame, there is no fastening, so he is not able to hold anything at all. I wouldn’t be outraged if it was a cheap Chinese saw, but it’s at least strange to see such a blunder at Bosch. |
