Model overview based on user reviews
The Gorenje GBF E/V9 water heater is praised for its convenient and reliable design, intended for long-term use with a two-year warranty on malfunctions and a 10-year guarantee on the tank. It features a robust inner tank made from thick sheet metal, designed to withstand high pressure, and is protected against corrosion by enamel and a magnesium anode. The heater uses two "dry" heating elements with a total power of 1400 W, which are easy to replace and reduce scale build-up. However, users note that it takes nearly two hours to heat water to 55-60 degrees if it has completely cooled down. Additionally, some users have experienced issues with leaking tanks and heating elements, which were not covered under warranty due to service requirements. Despite these issues, the product is recognized for its European quality and the brand's reputation.

I always carefully choose household appliances, especially when it comes to items that operate 24/7 and have a long service life. A water heater is exactly one of those things, so I didn't try to save money and didn't even consider domestic brands. Gorenje is a proven brand; I've had their gas stove and microwave working at home for many years, and a year ago we bought a washing machine from this brand.
First of all, it must be said that this is a convenient and reliable water heater, designed for long-term use over many years. The manufacturer provides a two-year warranty for any malfunctions and additionally guarantees 10 years of trouble-free operation of the tank. This is one of the longest warranties, and the company offers it for good reason. I'll start by noting that with a capacity of 50 liters, this boiler weighs 24 kg. The reason is simple - the inner tank, designed for high network pressure (up to 9 atm), is made of genuinely thick sheet metal. For comparison, I’ll say that cheap water heaters of the same capacity usually weigh no more than 18 kg. But its protection against leaks is not only due to the thickness. Protective enamel with primer and an increased magnesium anode reliably protect the metal from corrosion. Two so-called "dry" heating elements have a comparatively low power of 1400 W (2 x 700 W) and are controlled by a mechanical regulator. This scheme reduces scale build-up and allows for quick replacement of the heating element if it fails. Moreover, the heating elements are connected in parallel, so a failure of one of them will not affect the performance of the other, and the water heater will continue to work.
If the water in it has completely cooled down, you have to wait almost two hours for it to heat up at least to 55-60 degrees. To collect water gently dripping from the safety valve during the operation of the heating elements, you need to additionally select a polymer tube and a container for collecting the liquid.
    Not worth the money

Not worth the money. 10-year warranty on the tank if you take it down every year and bring it to them for two weeks to leave...
    Reputation
Bought it 3 years ago and the tank started leaking. Bought the second one the same year and the heating elements started leaking. They just crumbled. The tank is intact, but the heating elements are knocking inside... Under warranty, they said, goodbye, you didn't bring it for service. But it's a dry element. What service after a year?
