The technology of new-fangled payment by phone or smartwatch brings the procedure of purchasing goods to a new qualitative way. Firstly, from now on you can do without cash (contactless payments are available even for paying for public transport). Well, secondly, payments with a smartphone are many times safer than with a familiar credit card. And here's why.

If a potential attacker steals a bank card, he will be able to pay with it in some online stores or withdraw funds in other criminal ways (knowing the credit card number, expiration date and CVV code). For mobile gadgets with a linked card, everything is different — its data is stored on board the device in encrypted form and in order to use the payment wallet service, you will need biometric confirmation (fingerprint or face scanning).

The advantages of the contactless payment method are quite obvious — payments with a smartphone or a watch take a minimum of time, cards or cash can be left at home, and the security of such payments tends to 100%.

"Debriefing" regarding the support of contactless payment methods by banking institutions, we will start with a system from Google.
