I shot with this lens on the A850, now I switched to the A99. Alas, I did not receive such a picture either from Sony lenses or from Minolta, although there were good photos with the "Old Man", but a bit of course not a Zeiss Sony. I was pleased with the sharpness in the open and some kind of unique picture, airy, beautifully traced with clear details and rich colors. I caught myself on the fact that I began to edit less in the lightroom with this glass, and this is for the better. I disagree with those who say that for a professional, the main thing is not the lens, but the technique. This is not entirely true. A professional will simply squeeze the maximum out of an average glass, and with this lens it is easier for a non-professional to shoot, so the percentage of really good shots has increased. It is also pleasing that you can sharpen in any direction manually after focusing. A very convenient option that has gone into oblivion on the E series of lenses. The lens, due to its versatility, covers most of the needs and, due to its picture, completely replaces several of the most popular fixes in its range (subjectively) - Sharp at all apertures - Excellent color reproduction - Some kind of indescribable "Zeissian" picture or something - In principle, the price, but I took it on the secondary, it seems to be not bad - Native filters are expensive use Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 ZA A SSM Vario-Sonnar T* few months |
