Asus VN279QLB 27 " black price graph

Model overview based on user reviews
The Asus VN279QLB 27" monitor offers a very large screen size at a reasonable price, making it an attractive option for users seeking a spacious display. Initially, the color quality may require some adjustments, but with proper calibration, the results are excellent, especially the impressive black color and viewing angles. The monitor features a small bezel, enhancing its sleek appearance, and includes a built-in USB hub with two USB 3.0 ports. While the built-in speakers are adequate for basic audio needs, an external audio system is recommended for better sound quality. The stand is versatile, allowing for tilting and rotation, and the monitor can be wall-mounted if desired. However, the Full HD resolution may appear grainy on such a large screen, and the inclusion of only one HDMI port alongside VGA might be inconvenient for users with multiple devices. Despite these drawbacks, the monitor is well-suited for users who primarily connect via Display Port and appreciate the large screen size.

    great model, love it

The second downside doesn't bother me at all. I use the monitor only with a computer that has a Display Port anyway. So no problems there. As for the resolution, I try to sit further away from the screen. But the diagonal size allows me to ignore everything else. When I first unpacked this monitor, it seemed huge to me. Now it feels just right. Even 24-inch models seem small now. So, my next monitor will have the same size. Just with a higher resolution.
A very large screen size for a very reasonable price. Initially, the color quality was disappointing, but after tweaking and calibrating the screen, I achieved excellent results. The black color turned out almost perfect. The viewing angles are impressive. There are no backlight issues. The monitor looks very nice externally. The bezel around the screen is small, making it look quite thin against the large screen size. It has a built-in USB hub with two USB 3.0 ports. The two speakers are quite loud — sufficient if you're not listening to music or craving super-high quality audio, enough for something like Skype. However, it's better to get an external audio system. The stand is impressive — the screen tilts in any direction, and even rotates. If needed, you can detach it and mount it on the wall.
There are only two drawbacks. But both are not very pleasant. Firstly, the resolution could have been higher. At this size, everything looks too grainy. Even from a distance. FullHD was created for TVs, not for monitors. Although I understand that in this case, this monitor would cost much more. The second issue is less unpleasant, but it might annoy some - there's only one HDMI. And they kept the outdated VGA. If you use the monitor for multiple sources (e.g., computer, player, and console), it will be inconvenient. But if the computer has a Display Port, this problem is automatically solved.
